Won't You Be My Neighbor?

For 16 months we had the best neighbors EVER!!  It was the perfect situation...great neighborhood, end of a cul de sac, beautiful home, and awesome neighbors/friends with kids in the same age range as ours.  It took no time at all for us to become great friends; the guys enjoyed hanging out and the girls planned regular girls nights.  These were the type of neighbors who you could call anytime you needed anything..."do you have 2 eggs...a cup of sugar...extra diapers and wipes...could you watch my kids? (I asked the last one a lot!)....."  When I think of what neighbors are supposed to be and what kind of neighborhood I want to raise our boys in, this was it!!  Unfortunately it only lasted 16 months until the owners of the house we were renting moved back and we were forced to move. :(   Before we moved, we all got together and had a big block party (did I mention how awesome these people are?! :) ) that lasted until the wee hours of the morning.  I feel so blessed to have met these friends who I know will be friends for life.  God is so good at bringing the right people into our lives at the right time and I am thankful!  Here's some pics of the block party fun! :)
