It's a praying mantis! And he's looking at you!
God makes some weird looking insects huh? (That's probably what the praying mantis is thinking when it looks at us!!)
My mom took these pictures. She saw one at a gas station earlier this summer and then found this one in my brother's back yard. They are a fascinating looking insect and the crazy thing is, they notice you noticing them! They actually look at you and will move their head to follow your movements...its funny! I decided to look up "praying mantis" on the internet and I found 2 websites that had some interesting information about the praying mantis.
