The boys are starting to climb on and over everything, which is quickly rendering the gates ineffective. The only problem is, they can't keep their hands off of things that they are not supposed to touch. So now what do I do? I can't be in the room with them all day, but it is beginning to feel like that is my only option!

I just feel overwhelmed! I know they are at the age where they are supposed to be getting into things, but sometimes it feels like they take it to the max. I just feel like they should be starting to get the point of what they can and cannot play with or touch. But they just continue, without fail, to pull the magazines off the shelf, climb over the gate and play with the tv, climb over the gate and sit at the computer desk, climb onto the changing table and end tables, etc. I know, I sound terrible and I'm sure some of you are thinking "get over it, it's what toddlers do". My mom keeps reassuring me that because there are two of them, they just get into more together and that it's going to be harder to "police" two. I guess when you have two, it's twice as frustrating.

I need to stop comparing my situation to others because that only adds to my frustration. I can't compare what one kid is doing to what twins are doing....it may be a completely different process.

If any of my mommy friends have any suggestions, advice, similar stories, please let me know. I just wants to feel like this is normal, my boys are acting normal, and that I'm not crazy or a bad mom that doesn't know how to discipline her kids or teach them correctly! Thanks for "listening"! :)
